We got back to the car and noticed that one was missing a jewel. So we had to go back inside and we got a different guy completely changed around my attitude he was so nice and we got a replacement ring without any hassle.
The second guy made sure Id be coming to the store for a long time Missouri / Springfield / Body Art & Piercing / Kaleidoscope Ink. Voted best of body piercing, tattoo studio, and most eclectic store. Kaleidoscope has been one of my favorite stores in Springfield for smoking supplies/clothing/jewelry/incense/decorations and much more for years.
They are always patient, knowledgeable and very helpful. If they dont have something, they will round one up for you. They always make you feel welcomed, assuming you are of age (they i.d first thing every time-No Peeking youngsters!) They somehow manage to find a way to balance giving you your space and helping you find what youre looking for. Ive always been very picky about my glass so I love to spend my time browsing.never once have any of them ever made me feel rushed. They run a little but on the pricier end but sometimes you can find a great piece for a very reasonable price. They are always helpful with returns but, fair warning- be familiar with the stores policies on certain items before purchasing! Yes, folks, its a grown up store, but be mindful of certain vocabulary, as these guys play by the rules! They have a piercing studio below (certain piercings unavailable, last I knew. However- this may have changed with mask policies changing) and a tattoo studio above for all you ink junkies or even those of you looking for a first tatty (again- this isnt the cheapest studio, but ive gotten several tattoos here, including my first, which is still my favorite)Its not the biggest selection ever, but one of the largest as far as local shops. 16+ : In addition to the above, we will also pierce a tongue.They have something for just about everyone it would seem, in spite of this.13+ : We will pierce most common piercings (navel, lip, cartilage, nose, etc).5 – 12 : We will only pierce the earlobe.Not all piercers will pierce children younger than 10, so if you plan on bringing in your own for ear piercings, please call ahead. If you are coming in with your 5-12 year old child for earlobe piercings, we only require the birth certificate for the child and the parent’s ID.If the legal guardian is not the parent, the adoption papers must be provided to verify the guardian’s legal right to sign for the minor.
You must also provide proof of relationship. Minors must have a parent or legal guardian to be pierced/have jewelry changed/have piercings stretched. If you are under 18 years old, you will need to have a parent or legal guardian present, and provide the following information… To be pierced or have jewelry inserted, you must be at least 18 years old.
